Inception Prompts/Fills Master list

My claim list - well, a list of prompts that I might fill when my muse strikes.  I'm guilty.  The Inception kink meme is very addicting.  I'm sure the list will grow faster than I can fill.  But here it is, a list of prompts and the fills I've done so far.

AO3 Account

My thought of the week is whether or not I should try to open an AO3 account.  I think having an alternate place to house some of my fics might be a good thing.  You know, if something were to happen to all three of my journals for some reason, there would be an alternate place. *shrugs*  I suppose I'm still mulling it over.

I've been rooting around AO3 while I read the fics.  Like Dreamwidth, it looks like I need a code from someone that already has an account, or sign up and wait my turn in line to open my account.  Last I check that could take weeks to months depending where I am on the Queue.  That's fine with me since I'm not in any hurry.  More time to think...

SPN and Castiel

I just finish watching Supernatural and read up on the current discussion about the epi.  Since this is a Castiel centric epi, I have to put in my two cents...

Year round up

I'm here still...I haven't posted anything here in a while. Reason: Well, I think I'm hanging out over at LJ more and more. For some reason or another IJ, has become my secondary. I have to get better at cross-posting. Maybe that could be my New Years resolution. I do still keep up with my f-list here. Life rambling, reviews, recs are over at my LJ. But really, I'm not really an exciting person.

Last year I wrote an Angel/Spike fic if anyone is interested. I'm currently working on a Kurogane/Fai fic - post tsubasa, which I'm almost finish with. Current fandom obsession, to add to the rest of my list, is Inception and is shipping Arthur/Eames. I'm apparently reading anything with that pairing. In fact I would rather read fic than go to work sometimes. I'm trying to get into SIMs again. Lately I'm searching for recipes on the internet and trying to cook. Found out I'm not too bad, according to my family. It has been an experiment with the whole cooking ordeal. I'm 2 years out of grad school and still loving the freedom, but am afraid I've fallen into a work routine that's mundane. That's my update. ^ _ ^

Movies, Movies

I've watched both Avatar and Sherlock Holmes during the past week - both lovely movies - but I have to put my foot down and go against the crowd by saying that I enjoyed Sherlock Holmes more. What sold me was the subtle flirtation between Holmes and Watson, oh and I suppose the great storyline had something to do with it too. ^ _ ^

Next movie I'm looking forward to is: Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightening Thief. I might have to re-read the book again prior to seeing the movie.

Tsubasa ova/xxxholic 2nd season

Every now and then I tend to search for anime online since the US is slow in licensing or discontinue the series all together. I knew they made a Tsubasa ova about the Tokyo Revolution arch, so imagine my surprise when I saw that another Ova was made! Heck, since I was at it, I went to check on xxxholic and was pleasantly pleased to find that a 2nd season was made. Also they have english subtitles, so I could actually watch them!

I found them over at www.anilinkz.com

That site has other anime series and I'm sure I'll have a grand ol' time browsing through them...

Saiyuki Gaiden

I finally found translated scans for Saiyuki Gaiden. After reading the first chapter and a half, I realized that all my Saiyuki Gaiden drabbles are now AU. I'm looking forward to seeing the backstory of Saiyuki

The shows are back...

House and Heroes' 2 hour premier kicked off on Monday.  My dilemma - they were on at the same time!!!  Thanks to technology I can still watch them both.  I still have to watch House since I was busy, but I was able to catch Heroes.  I also checked the TV schedule and it looks like my dilemma continues with both House and Heroes starting at the same time and day.

I have two shows I'm watching this season and whoever makes the schedule decided to make it difficult.

One series completed

Yay!  Fruits Basket has finally ended with a whopping 23 vol.  I've started this series about 5-6 years ago (Gawd, it's been so long that I don't even remember).  By far this is the longest, completed, manga series I own.  Although, I have a feeling that Tsubasa might be longer than 23 vol..

Transformers

I just got back from watching Transformers and for the most part, I liked it.  Compared to the first movie there are a lot more things that went BOOM and a lot more humor, which could be good or bad depending what you like.

Next movie I'm going to watch is G.I.Joe - Yeah, I grew up with that too.  I have mix feelings about whether to watch Harry Potter HBP or wait for the DVD to come out, but I saw the trailer and it sparked some interest.  I also saw the trailers for Full Moon and...it actually looks good.  I saw a poster that Jim Carey is playing in the Christmas Carol.  And I think there's going to be a Sherlock Homes movie.

Busy, Busy

I'm aaaa-live....if only just.  I believe work is going to be the end of me.  Lately it's "recommended" that the staff wear protective gear.  So I've been marching around what seems like a clown suit with a mask, which is very annoying.  I think one of these days I'll suggest to change the color of the gowns to hot pink so we can stand out even more.  @ _ @;

Besides work, I've been doing odd fun stuff.  Recently, I finished the final season of Prison Break.  I'm still in shock how the series ended.  I don't know what I feel about that, whether I agree or am appalled by the end.  I finished a book: Enemies and Allies by Kevin J. Anderson - a fun story about how Superman and Batman met.  It's not slashy enough, but still a great book.  I'm now re-reading The 34th Rule.  And someone recommended that I need to start  the Sookie Stackhouse series.  I'll give them a try.  I'm sure they can't be any worse than the Twilight series.  Finally, I need to finish the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.  The final and 5th book is out. ^ _ ^

I've been cross-stitching when the mood strikes.  I'm proud to say that I'm almost to the half way point on my latest project.  Writing fics is yet another story.  I have bits and pieces of potential fics from different fandom bouncing around, but not enough to do something about it. *sigh*  I think I'm in a rut.  Finally I'm debating whether to open a Facebook account.  I'm getting pressure from both family and friends, but I've firmly planted my feet; however, that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about opening one.

*Whew*  I think that pretty much sums up what I've been doing up until now.

Trek-ie

It's been a while since I've watched Star Trek, but I know I was looking forward to the movie.  I was not disappointed.  I liked it!  I had to dig deep into my memory to try to remember the characters from the original Star Trek, but I was able to manage.  ^ _ ^

X-men

So I told myself a while back to never go and watch a movie on opening day.  I think I had a bad experience with Harry Potter: movie three on opening day which spurred me to wait for a couple of weeks to watch a movie.  Obviously, I didn't listen to myself this time around.  I have the day off and thought "what the heck, let's watch a movie."

I'm not a hard core X-men fan, but I'm familiar enough with the storyline to actually enjoy it and not be too analytical.  I know it ventured off from the comics, but it was still a great movie - in my opinion.

Wow! That was...unexpected

Thank goodness it wasn't Wilson.  Is it terrible for me to think that?  I would be crushed and my friends and family would have to deal with my rants for months on ends like when Lupin and Snape was offed.  But I am upset of the turn of events on this episode (I like Kutner...he made a Harry Potter quote.), yet I'm excited to see how this will affect House and gang.

Yes...I'm obsess with minor things and yes...I'm a dork.

Radom Fandom

I've been kept very busy at work ever since I came back home from my brief vacation.  It would seem that I've started the ball rolling for others thinking about going on vacation, which means we're short staff and the rest of us have to pick up the slack.  Oh, well...I do what I can.  Then after work I try to keep up with fandom and the TV series that I'm obsess.

I'm quite upset about missing Heroes last Monday...I heard it was a great episode.  I got the cliff notes from a friend, but it's just not the same.  Then there's House.  I made sure I was able to watch that episode and I thought "Locked In" was brilliantly played out.  I am, however, worried about the next episode when they showed the previews.  With the rumors and spoilers floating around over at LJ - even if I took care not to read them - I was still exposed to some.  So I'm worry.

Tsubasa...Yes, I'm still reading and following the manga, but I'm so confuse as to what is happening and where CLAMP is trying to go towards during the final chapters that I can't put it into coherent words.  I've tried....I went and verbalized my thought to my brother about what's happening in the latest Tsubasa chapters and he gave me funny "huh" look and said, "I think CLAMP is running out of ideas."  LOL...I think I agree with my brother.

OK, now onto the general manga world.  Somebody got me interested in Death Note.  I don't know if it's something I would like to own, but I know my cousin has the series, so I might be borrowing it from him.  Also, since I was browsing at the book store, which tends not to be a good thing because I tend to find something of interest, I was looking at 07-ghost.  I don't know much about it yet.  I thought I might do some research on the plot line, but the art work is something I like and guys are something I manage to drool over.  Hee!

Spring Break

Since I'm not in school anymore, spring break doesn't really apply to me.  However I decided to take a break anyways and went on a little trip.
